Maintenance Checklist

Use this checklist as a starting point. Site procedures, applicable standards, and OEM manuals always take precedence.

Safety and interlocks

  • Verify flame safeguard sequence and lockout behavior.
  • Test proof-of-closure and valve leak checks per procedure.
  • Confirm purge timing and airflow proving where required.
  • Inspect flame sensor condition and wiring integrity.

Fuel and air systems

  • Inspect filters, regulators, and pressure gauges for stability.
  • Check blower/burner air path for obstructions and leakage.
  • Inspect dampers/registers for sticking and repeatability.
  • For oil: verify atomization components and fuel temperature/viscosity.

Combustion verification

  • Record O₂/CO/stack temperature across representative loads.
  • Verify stable ignition and flame shape at min-fire.
  • Document tuning settings and acceptance criteria.
